The Greater Foundation of Chicagoland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the personal and professional development of youth and young adults across Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Through innovative after-school programs in Boxing and Chess, we integrate physical fitness with mental development—promoting discipline, patience, critical thinking, and overall wellness.

Our programs serve students within the Chicago Public School system and nearby communities, offering Boxing & Chess Clubs that foster healthy competition, teamwork, and peer engagement. Recognized for strong outcomes, The Greater Foundation achieves high student retention rates, notable GPA improvements, over 90% attendance, and reductions in student detentions and suspensions.

T.G.F. programs impact through both in-person and online learning opportunities. Students can now access our online Chess Learning Program, expanding access to educational enrichment city-wide.
